We met these folks at a fire safety event in San Marcos California. They struck us as being very experienced capable and cooperative. We live in a homeowner's association and we ask them to come out and talk to our community about some of the things we could do to reduce the risk of property damage due to wildfire. They showed up and gave a terrific presentation and help galvanize our community on a common path to gaining some progress in being safer. I don't know if we could have gotten that kind of help from anybody else. They also are kind of one-stop shop for all the materials needed to do home hardening and when impress me was they take a personalized approach, what each property needs versus some one size fits all kind of approach as if all of our homes needed the same thing. I was having difficulty renewing my homeowner insurance policy because of new insurance guidelines pertaining to wildfire prevention in California.  In my case, I was now required by my insurance to “Box the Eaves” with fire retardant material.  I contacted Allied Disaster Defence and spoke to Vincent who told me they could help me navigate the new insurance requirements. He sent out their specialist April to meet with me the following day.  April went above and beyond all my expectations. Her history as a firefighter gave tremendous insight into what was needed to be done to protect my property to comply with the insurance company, and she found cost-effective yet quality options to help me determine my best course of action.  Best of all, her understanding and empathy for a homeowner trying to decipher the new regulations and manage costs added the human element missing from so many large companies. The level of service of knowledge and professionalism I received from both April and the team at Allied Disaster Defense was so high it warranted this review. I was able to stay compliant and maintain insurance coverage while saving thousands of dollars in what could have been very expensive improvements.
